The support group was formed by Christelle and Raven Delport, Natalie Louw and Tina West. At the time the group was nameless, so Natalie came up with the name the Budding Roses! The Budding Roses gets together once a month at someone's house. It is an informal gathering were friends get together, have a chat and a relaxing afternoon together. We provide information and support to each other whether pre-op , post-op or non-op.
The Budding Roses is not just for transgender people, it is also there for partners, family and friends who need support and/or more information.
